Captain Gene Brooks has been fishing on Lake Guntersville for over 25 years!
"I fell in love with the lake and can’t get enough. My son and I got hooked on the “frog bite” years ago. My son Jesse’s best was a 9-pound, 12-ounce largemouth bass. He is handicapped and would never do any drugs but has often said the “frog bite” must be like being hooked on cocaine. Yes, he is addicted. We fish all seasonal patterns, which include a variety of baits. If given the chance to take you fishing, we will do our best to see that you have a great day on the water."

Youth Fishing
Being a dad with a handicapped son, I have developed skills of patience and perseverance. It gives me an unspeakable joy to watch kids catch fish. It is both fun and exciting for them to pull in a fish. The smile on their face is awesome. We would love to get you and your kids off the couch and out of the house. Let’s get them on the water, hoping to give them an experience that will hook them on fishing, not drugs or gaming. All kids deserve the opportunity to experience fishing. And parents, did you know our youth can earn a college scholarship for fishing?
Lodging
We have a 42 ft. 2021 Arctic Wolf Camper set up on our private property. 2 separate bedrooms with a bath and a half. FEE $100 per night.
The fully custom RV has reclining, heated seats, a full kitchen and 1.5 bathrooms.
The main bedroom has a king bed with memory foam mattress and the back bedroom has a full size bed and loft.
